In the first building activity in almost a week, a new landscaping company turned up this morning to erect a new fence. The upper photo shows the posts being driven in, and the lower one shows the completed fence.
All the signs are that this was not on the original plan. I hope it's temporary — perhaps while the new plants are bedding in — because it doesn't fit well with the other fencing and landscaping at all. Instead of the
zen garden theme this fence has the feeling of an Orpington semi's back garden. Which is fine in itself, but doesn't really fit with the design here.
