Good bye security fences

On the right you can see the truck that removed the security fences today. At last. Lucy likes the wooden fence and disagrees with my comments in the previous posting, but I'm sticking to them.

David,

I thank you for displaying these images. As a former resident of Ironmonger Street (not there any more plus someone who had married at St Bartholmew the Great I was pleased to see these images. For the record U had to have stayed in Cloth fair for aperiod of time to qualify to marry in the church. My mother lived in Whitecross Street at the end of her life and was pleased alos to see the Barbican images.

Will return for further memories.

PS when young we used to climb into the tanks in the Barracks at the Royal Artillary grounds! Went back many years later for lunch!!
