The top photo shows the Quiet Garden path just after 7pm today. Compared with the how it looked yesterday afternoon (lower picture), it appears the surface of the Hoggin has been scuffed and scarred.

In limbo

The gardens seem forlorn today — and lifeless, apart from a 30-minute football game at lunchtime, when boys from the nearby school realised they could move their kickaround from the platform outside Braithwaite House to the ball court.

I assume this is a period of review, before the finishing and de-snagging. I saw a couple of people inspecting the site on Saturday morning.

In the meantime, the only people with access to the gardens are those willing and agile enough to get round the rudimentary security, which makes the site a kind of outlaw zone.
